Palmetto-Pine Country Club is an 18-hole championship course designed by renowned architect, Arthur Hills. This unique and challenging layout has eight sets of tees ranging from 3,100 to 6,600 yards and has tested some of the games best players. Palmetto-Pine is known for its tree lined fairways and small fast greens. In 2004, the tees and fairways were completely renovated and the green complexes were rebuilt and surfaced with TifEagle Bermuda. A note from Arthur Hills:

“As a golf course architect from Toledo Ohio, I have designed many golf courses throughout the world over the past 40 or so years. However, the first one is always special. In 1969, I designed Palmetto-Pine Country Club. It holds a unique place of honor for me because it was my first design in Florida. I particularly love the inherent challenges when creating courses in Florida. Giving consideration for all skill levels, Palmetto-Pine can be as demanding or as easy as the golfer chooses. As an added bonus, the layout continues to be a fun and enjoyable course for both walkers and cart users.”
